About the Formal:
Hey there, cool cats! Listen up and dig this scene: it’s time to strap into your vintage threads and join us for the grooviest event of the season – the high school spring formal!
We’re talking a real swingin’ shindig with a sit-down dinner that’s gonna knock your socks off, drinks that’ll make you feel like the bee’s knees, and dancing that’ll have you cutting a rug ’til the break of dawn.
Grab your best gal or guy, and join us for a night you won’t soon forget. It’s gonna be a blast from the past, so let’s make like a record and spin into the night together!
Attire:
When it comes to the threads for our classic/vintage event, let’s keep it real classy, ya dig?
For the dames, think sweet and sassy in your knee-length to full length gowns. No need to show too much, for modesty is the name of the game. Feel free to dress along with the theme in your classic/vintage attire.
And for you gents, it’s all about keeping it slick and suave. Rock a sharp suit with a skinny tie or a snazzy bowtie – think James Dean meets Frank Sinatra. Keep it clean-cut, no need for any of that rebel without a cause nonsense. And don’t forget to shine those shoes, ’cause you gotta look sharp when you’re out on the dance floor.
So let’s all dress to impress and show off our vintage style with class and flair at the prom of the decade!

A Refreshing Change
Are you looking for a refreshing change in how you explore, learn and experience life and faith? Our mission is to make a difference in our world by introducing people to Jesus Christ and His teachings – no matter what point we find them in their spiritual journey. Come join us!
The Message
With a sense of humor and straight-forward style, our pastor, Dwight Surratt, provides a practical approach on applying the Bible to everyday living.
The Music
We feature a very progressive mix of live music performed on stage weekly. Songs with meaning – written by familiar artists.
The History
Carefree Church began in May of 1993 when Dwight & Tricia Surratt left their staff position at a church in Albuquerque, NM to build a church in the North Phoenix area. God had put in their hearts a vision for a place that would “make a difference in our world by introducing people to Jesus Christ and His teachings at whatever point we found them in their spiritual journey.”
