“CCA is like a home to me. When I have struggles, I can rely on God and my friends at school. The CCA staff is so encouraging. Before I went to CCA, I was struggling with stuff but thanks to God that I ended up at CCA. The three years I’ve spent at CCA helped grow my desire for God and I have been chasing my dreams. The love and joy I have for this school will always be in my heart and I will always remember the funny moments and the joy my friends at CCA give me.”
“This year I have overcome a lot of troubles and difficulties. I have grown closer to God and learned more about the skills I can use when praying, when overcoming Satan’s influence, and when I am struggling. This year I have desired to trust God more, and let him have control over my life. I am not perfect but I want to give my all to being close to Christ. By trusting God I can feel the foundation being built, and I wish to continue building that relationship with him as the years continue. At my time at CCA, my knowledge has increased with the teachers’ help. I am able to absorb more academic information. When I struggle, the teachers are there to help. I appreciate every ounce of kindness and gracefulness the teachers have given me. As I continue my journey of education, I am able to feel more free and not as overwhelmed and stressed. Thank you CCA for all the amazing things you did for me.”
“My first year of being a student at Carefree Christian Academy (CCA) has been a blast. I’ve learned so much and connected with so many people. The students are really nice and fun to be around. They are authentic and not judgmental of others, quite contrary to public school kids. The campus is really nice. There are many things that I love about this school, but my top favorite thing is definitely the snack cart. Secondly, the teachers and staff are super engaging with the students. The staff is really chill and social. The students, including myself, find trust in them. Additionally, the staff are extremely hardworking and they make sure that we scholars have a stress free time at school. They are full of charisma and humor. Additionally the teachers are very insightful and knowledgeable and they make the learning experience entertaining. The final reason I love this school so much is that they provide college classes. That’s right, you can start taking college classes at the age of 15. I love planning for my future and taking college classes from a young age brings me enthusiasm to learn. CCA is really the place to be.”
“I have grown this year in so many ways such as spiritually, emotionally, academically, socially, and physically. I grew and deepened my faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Bible class has really helped me, the teachers in that class have helped me so much. I grew emotionally by growing spiritually, I got baptized last Sunday and it opened up my eyes. It helped me grow closer to Jesus Christ, I grew so much. Furthermore I have grown academically so much, I have improved my grades this year and will continue to do so. I have gained so many friends, and have also grown stronger both mentally and physically. I am so grateful for this year and the year to come. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give hope and a future.”
“I have grown spiritually this year though the amount is hard to measure. Academically it was my best year yet! Socially I fit in better here. I’m able to make trustworthy friends at this school. Physically I’m stronger than I used to be, and emotionally I don’t really get anxious any more.”
“This school year I have had ups and downs but always tried to keep my head up through it all. I learned to balance school, work, and sports, and pushed myself to do well in everything. I grew in academics by getting the help I need in math and other subjects. I have always struggled in math my whole life, but having a good teacher at CCA helped me through it all, and helped me understand it so much.”
“I’ve grown tremendously this year in all sorts of ways. I’ve grown socially by making good friends who care about me and want the best for me. When I first came to CCA I was in a rough place and struggled finding the right friends. But when I started to get close to two girls at school everything changed. At CCA we all love God and want to be closer with him. Having Bible class first thing in the morning was the best part of my days. If I was ever having a rough morning or woke up on the wrong side of the bed I knew I could count on Bible class to cheer me up. When it comes to academics never did I ever think I would enjoy math, but all that changed this year due to the kindness of the teacher and the students in my class. I’ve learned so many things in all my classes and I’m so grateful for all the teachers who genuinely care about us. Emotionally I’ve matured so much from being in the wrong crowd to getting involved with my youth group and reading the Bible. Finding good influences has changed my whole mental state completely. When you surround yourself with the right people and turn to God that’s where you’ll find the joy.”
“The strongest way I have grown this year is in my spiritual life and my social life. Since my spiritual life wasn’t the strongest at the beginning of the year, it caused my social life to be bad as well. In the past I would spend time with anyone and just wanted to have fun. Once I started growing in my relationship with God, I could start to see my “friends” for who they actually were. Going to CCA after being in a different school was amazing. At the other school, my grades were failing. When I came to CCA my grades went up and I got in better shape physically from the fitness activities, too. All of those factors have helped my mental health and my emotions. I thought being sad was normal and having anxiety was OK. The closer I got to God, I realized it’s not. It’s not normal to be sad every day. You can be sad sometimes, yes. But having God with you is peace.”
“I have grown in my academics, spiritually, and emotionally. Since the beginning of the school year I have grown in my Bible reding and prayer time with God. I’ve also grown in how I view myself and others by reading my Bible and praying. The other thing I grew in was my academics. For example I have the best grades this year as compared to any before. I have been able to learn and focus more on school, even when distractions come into my life. Academics has been a priority for me this year, and I have noticed I have also grown in mental happiness knowing I’m doing well in school. The last area I have grown in are my emotions. I have been happier, and my mood has changed to focus on positive things. This has helped me socially to be a fun, energetic person to be around! This year has changed me forever – when I graduate I’ll be sad to say goodbye to CCA. But it will be time for the next chapter in my life. Thank you CCA!”
“I have been at CCA for 4 whole years and I feel that I have grown in all aspects the most this year. I used to have the unbearable suffocating pressure of feeling the need to please so many people. I turned to God, then strayed from him, and did things I regret. But shortly after having a much-needed consequence I learned that God is watching and he put me back in the right direction. I know I have grown to fully respect God and spending time with him.”
“Looking back on this year there have been many significant changes in my life. One of the biggest changes was changing schools and coming to CCA. At my last school we had hours of work every night and I was depressed, and I hated it. When I came to CCA I really liked the way things were taught and how there isn’t a lot of homework. It’s been a lot less stressful to maintain decent grades. I like that we have a Bile class and chapel at school. It has taught me a lot more about God. Spiritually I have started to grow. Now when I go through hard times I pray and try to regain my relationship with God. Coming to CCA has helped a lot since it is a Christian school, and it encourages me to read my Bible. I’ve seen a lot of personal growth. At public school it is hard to stay close to God because you can easily get lost and distracted by other problems. Socially I have grown a decent amount. Last year I had a lot of friends who were bad influences and led me in the wrong path. This year I’ve been trying harder to surround myself with good influences and people I want to be around. I’m grateful for the people I’ve met at CCA and I have a lot of fun with the things we do at school. I feel like I’m growing emotionally and I’m trying to be emotionally mature. I still have a lot to work on but this year it has been getting better.”
“CCA helped me grow in my faith by providing a supportive environment to explore and deepen my beliefs. The emphasis on service and leadership has allowed me to develop a strong sense of purpose and responsibility. This school also challenged me to think critically and expand my knowledge in various subject areas. Taking college courses through CCA specifically helped in these areas. Small class sizes allowed for more personalized attention from teachers, fostering a deeper understanding of complex concepts. The teachers here are dedicated to helping me succeed and reach my full potential. They focus on building relationships with each other like Jesus did. The students at this school have helped me grow by encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and participate in social activities that have enriched my experience. The diverse student body has broadened my perspective and allowed me to learn from different backgrounds and viewpoints. I have made Christian-based friendships which have strengthened my faith. They encourage me to grow spiritually and support me through life’s challenges. This year has made me examine my beliefs and values more closely and helped me become more empathetic towards others. It has indeed been a transformative experience.”
“At Carefree Christian Academy my growth has been profound. Spiritually, CCA has provided me with a nurturing environment to deepen my faith through daily Bible classes, chapel services, and service opportunities. These experiences have not only strengthened my connection with God but also challenged me to critically examine my beliefs and values. Academically CCA offers a rigorous curriculum that integrates faith into learning. With passionate teachers and small class sizes, I’ve been able to excel academically while also exploring how my faith intersects with various subjects. This approach has fostered critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the world around me. Socially, CCA has been a place of belonging and community. Through extracurricular activities and service projects, I’ve formed meaningful friendships with peers who share similar values. The inclusive environment has taught me empathy and respect for others, enriching my high school experience beyond the classroom.”
“This year I have grown personally and academically. Taking college courses at CCA provided me with a flexible schedule. I used my extra time to focus on personal growth as well as strengthening my relationship with the Lord. I am blessed to be in a school that fosters your relationship with the Lord and has resources if you are struggling. I also learned a lot of independence when I had to catch up on work I missed, with the help of two of my CCA teachers. It has been amazing to grow up with everyone in the school and follow them in their journey. This school really is like a family. The classes are so small that it allows you to form more personal relationships. I am blessed to be able to attend a school where the teachers treat you like their own children. Thank you to everyone for all you have done to help me succeed.”
“I have grown spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically during my time at CCA. Spiritually CCA has helped me to develop more of a personal relationship with Christ. The school has helped me to develop a habit of daily prayer and Bible reading. I have learned more about myself and what God has created me to be. The school has helped me in my journey of overcoming perfectionism and to give myself grace after I have offered my mistakes up to God. School has also helped me to base my value on God rather than self-esteem and guys. The school has helped me to grow in confidence and to allow myself to share my humor with others. Academically I have grown a ton. I now know how to write an APA 7 formatted paper. My grades have improved so much along with my test scores. CCA has helped me find a love for learning and growing in my academics. The teachers have helped me to do and learn things I never thought I was capable of. Thank you CCA, I appreciate you.”
“This year I feel like I have flourished dramatically. When I first started the year, my relationship with God was not good. I struggled when trying to read and understand the Bible, I didn’t like hearing Christian music, and I didn’t put much effort or attention on my relationship with God. My relationship started to grow because God started talking to me through the Bible classes and the church. I began understanding the Bible, learned how to properly pray and make time for God. Once I started making goals to fix my relationship with God, I have never felt so happy and at peace. Even in the hardest times, I never felt alone. Academically CCA helped me push past my limits and take college classes, something I never thought I was capable of doing. This year CCA and church have helped my relationship with God grow and helped me find myself a little better. It taught me that, “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13.”
“Socially CCA has provided me the opportunity to make a ton of great friendships. The church attached to CCA has an amazing youth group and I have found both the school and the youth group to be very welcoming as compared to other schools and churches. CCA has been a huge help academically. The teachers and opportunities for tutoring allow me to have great success. Academically CCA sets up all students for success. CCA has allowed me to grow spiritually. Ever since going to CCA I have grown in my relationship with the Lord. CCA has shown what a helpful school looks like with great teachers. It has also shown how relationships should work. Ever since coming to CCA I have grown in my faith with the Lord. Attending CCA has been the best school years I have ever experienced.”
“This school year had been full of opportunities for growth, learning, and fun. Spiritually this year has been so good. Not only have I grown personally, but so may around me have too. Our chapel services have been enlightening. Everyone has grown together and learned how to live Christian lives. We have been able to implement traits that reflet God’s character in every part of our lives. Academically this year has been good. My GCU courses have been relevant to what I need to know as I finish with high school. Socially this year has been full of learning opportunities and emotionally this year has been normal. Good times and bad times have all occurred and that’s normal. I am grateful for my teachers being so supportive!”
“For me the school year started out with low expectations but as time when on I enjoyed the year more and more. I am glad I went to school at CCA this year. I grew spiritually because this is a Christian school. But also because the people around me helped me grow in my faith. Academically I grew a lot. I learned new things, mainly life lessons. I grew socially as the year went on. I made new friends and feel a lot better socially. I have this school to thank for that. Emotionally I grew as well. All the new experiences helped me grow emotionally. I am a better person because of this school.”
“My faith has grown over the past few months especially because I’ve started going to a Christian school. My academics have improved and I’m getting better grades. In social aspects, I have less social anxiety. It’s still there but has gotten much better. A lot has improved this school year. I partially think it’s because I’m in a better environment than I was in previously. CCA has taught me a lot and I have changed in so many good ways. My mood has gotten better, my grades have improved, I’ve been happier and feel safer. I also feel like I’ve gotten closer to God and my faith has grown so much. I’m going to church more, praying more, and talking to God more. I still think there are some steps I can do to grow more in my faith, such as reading my Bible more.”
“Moving to a new school forced me to grow and adapt to new things and challenges. I made new friendships, grew emotionally, academically, and spiritually. I am grateful to God for all that he has done in my life recently. I changed as a person for the better in only one semester more than in the past couple years. Spiritually my relationship with God has changed. At this new school, where being a Christian is accepted and encouraged, I have been able to freely grow my relationship with God at school. I feel I have been asleep in faith and let myself slip away from God last year. Since the beginning of this year I have been reading the Bible and praying a lot more than I used to. Overall, I have grown closer with God this year and am so thankful I have taken the steps to do so. Emotionally and socially, I have become more mature and happier, and have made so many new friends. Now that I am surrounded by Christian friends, I matured and became more joyful. I gained a new perspective on life and am more grateful. At my old school I was immature and sad because I felt alone, even though I had a lot of friends. I felt that I was lacking the real, close friends I have now. I am happier than ever in a tight knit Christian community. Lastly, I have grown academically. It’s not that I have better grades because I’ve always had pretty good grades. I’ve grown academically in that I learned to enjoy the work I am doing. I take everything as an opportunity to learn and grow, which has changed my outlook and attitude towards the work I have to do. Also, I started college classes which I am really enjoying and excelling in. It is very nice and uplifting to be in a class with other people who are interested in the topics we are writing and learning about. Throughout this year, I grew tremendously socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. I am grateful to God for all the ways I’ve been able to grow this year.”
